Privacy policy
Last updated:
Marengo Inc. (“Marengo”) operates this website. This policy explains what personal information the site collects, why, where it goes, and the rights you can exercise under Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25) and Canada’s PIPEDA.
What we collect, and why
Forms you choose to submit. The demo request form collects your name, company, role, work email, phone, city, portfolio size and an optional message, used to respond to your request and organize a demo. The trainer application form collects your name, email, phone, city, certifications, specialties, the areas you can work in, years of experience and a résumé link, used to evaluate your application and contact you about teaching opportunities. We collect nothing on these forms that is not needed for those purposes.
Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, request time, pages requested) for security and reliability. We do not use them to profile visitors.
Cookies. The site sets one functional cookie: your language preference. It contains no identifier and tracks nothing. The site currently uses no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking. If that ever changes, those tools will load only after you explicitly opt in, and this policy will be updated first.
The “ask my building” form. On the booking page, a resident whose building is not yet a Marengo partner can leave their name, email and building name. We use this to contact that building’s management about Marengo and to keep the person posted. Nothing else.
Health information: none. This website never asks for or accepts health information (injuries, conditions, fitness assessments). Anything of that nature is handled inside the training platform residents use to book, under its own policy, never on this site.
Where your information goes
Form submissions are transmitted to and stored with service providers acting for Marengo:
- monday.com, our client and applicant tracking system, where form submissions become records. Data may be processed on servers outside Québec and Canada.
- Google Workspace, email, for replying to you and internal notifications. Data may be processed outside Québec and Canada.
- Hostinger, website hosting and server logs.
Residents who book classes or training do so on Marengo’s training platform (a separate service with its own terms and privacy policy, linked at the point of booking).
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the providers above.
How long we keep it
Demo-request, application and resident building-request records are kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted, unless a business relationship (a signed agreement, an active instructor contract) requires keeping them longer.
Your rights
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to admin@marengohealth.com, we respond within 30 days. You may also withdraw consent to further contact at any time, and you can complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Person in charge of personal information
As required by Law 25, the person responsible for the protection of personal information at Marengo is Alexandre Fortin, admin@marengohealth.com.
If something goes wrong
If a confidentiality incident involving your personal information presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify you and the Commission d’accès à l’information without delay, as the law requires.
